My Paris Getaway: Fashion, Art & Advendteres
Paris has always been high on my travel list due to many reasons, including being an art and fashion lover. The opportunity for this trip finally presented itself; it was everything hoped for and more, and I still can’t wait to return. You hear many people say they don’t like Paris, “It’s dirty.” Well, yeah, every city will have areas like that.
You must believe in the beauty of what is around you, and this place feels magical; it’s really about the perspective. I have now been to Paris twice, both short trips, but I always find the time to fit in all my favorite activities, from sidewalk cafes, exploring the history of the city, picnics in the park, and dancing to Nicole Moudaber at an underground rave, and all in between! .
Finding the best views from the top
Location: Montmartre, 18th arrondissement , prepare yourself for 222 steps
Hôtel Toujours — Boutique Charm and Spa Serenity
$200 range per night
Tucked away in the 16th arrondissement, stylish, cozy spot perfect for little luxury on budget . The real treat? A relaxing spa with a hammam, sauna, pool, and massages way to win me over after 30k step days.
it’s about a 30-minute walk to the Eiffel Tower and an hour to the Louvre. If you love exploring on foot like I do, you’ll dig the strolls. There’s a subway nearby, but honestly, it’s not my vibe. Uber is a solid option, prices are fair, but Paris traffic can be wild. I even missed my Catacombs entry thanks to crossing the river during rush hour!
Hôtel Mercure Paris Montmartre Sacré-Cœur — Budget-Friendly & Perfectly Placed
$130 a night,
this hotel was my friend’s pick while traveling together — not my top choice for comfort, but the location can’t be beat. Just steps from the heart of Montmartre, it’s ideal if you want to dive into that artsy vibe and spend hours wandering the charming streets.
Two spots I loved nearby: Place du Tertre for its lively artist square, and Le Mur des Je t’aime (I Love You Wall) for a quirky, romantic photo op.
If location’s your priority and you want to explore Montmartre on foot, this spot does the job.
Hôtel Villa Romantic & Spa — Intimate Stay with a Relaxing Touch
At $140 a night, this boutique hotel felt warm, welcoming, and perfectly sized for a relaxed Paris stay. The highlight is the spa, as you see the pattern complete with a pool, sauna, and steam room, ideal for unwinding after a day in the city.
Located in the 13th arrondissement, it’s a quieter side of Paris but still close to gems worth visiting. Two favorites nearby: Rue Mouffetard, one of the city’s oldest and most charming market streets, and Jardin des Plantes, a beautiful botanical garden perfect for a slow afternoon stroll. Café de Flore, one of Paris’ most iconic cafés is about 45 minuate walk
Paris isn’t just one thing it’s style, beauty, creativity, and quiet moments all rolled into one. Whether you’re into art, fashion, history, or just wandering with for a baguette , the city offers a little bit of magic for everyone.

As expected, Paris delivered on the art front, not just the museums, but every street is art. I started with the Louvre to beat the crowds and purchased a ticket with a time slot a few weeks before. This place is massive. I did not have nearly enough time for it all, so I picked a few wings to focus on, including the one with the Mona Lisa (yes, she’s smaller than expected but cool to say I have seen the lady in real life.
Dior Mesume was next on my stop, totally cool to see the history and all of the fashion pieces that have walked in Paris Fashion Week, and the journey of the brand from years back till now.. Time slot and ticket purchased.
The museum’s collection of vintage magazines brings Dior’s fashion heritage to life, highlighting legendary covers and unique editions through the years.”
